Child Shepherd Costume Striped or Assort.

This costume can be worn either by girls or boys for a biblical costume. Ideal for shepherd boy, as well. Fabric varies. The robe is a earthtone color that looks like a tweed, textured fabric with matching headpiece. Same as factory photo at left, but fabric is tweed-look similar to fabric texture at right in various earthones- not stripe. Striped fabric also available. Fabric colors vary. One size regular children from sizes 7-12. Flowing gown fits up to chest size 40". Gown is approx. 40" wide, 52" length, and 12" sleeve length. The gown is made larger to fit most; you may need to hem to shorten. Made in the U.S.A. of cotton or cotton/polyester imported or domestic fabric. Staff sold separately. 

Staff is made of plastic and has crook top. Child size. Lightweight can be easily carried by younger children. Approx. 48 inches. New version comes in 3 pieces to assemble. For very young childen, you can attach only one piece to make 28" length staff, if needed.

Costumes are child sizes. Can be used for Mary and Joseph or other biblical characters. Girl costume is white dress with blue sash and headpiece. The costume is same as picture, but factory now making boy costume is brown & tweed tan/grey colors.  Mary costume is polyester. Boy costume is polyester and/or cotton costumes or blend of various fibers. Boy costume comes with headpiece & cord tie, robe, and overcoat. Joseph size child size small (4-6) flowing gown fits up to a 37" chest maximum. Sleeve length is 14" approx. and length of gown is about 40 inches. Made slightly larger to accommodate most children. You may need to hem/alter. Medium size flowing gown fits up to a 39" chest maximum. Sleeve length is 14" approx. and length of gown is about 44 inches. Large (10-12) fits up to a 14 sometimes. Chest size of costume is 43 inches, so is for a child under 43 wide. Sleeve length is 15 inches; 48" length of gown.

Mary size child medium (8-10) fits up to a chest of 40" maximum, 14 inch sleeve, and length is 43 inches approx. Large size (12) flowing gown fits up to 42" chest maximum. Sleeve length is 14" approx. and length of gown is about 47 inches. Made slightly larger to fit most older children. You may need to hem/alter.
